Jeff Mathena has a gift for empowering his students and taking the talents of professional vocalists to the next level. He is known for his ability to focus on each individual’s unique needs and aspirations, and for pushing them further than they believe is possible. Guided by his long-held, core philosophy that good technique should always making singing more simple, never more complicated, Jeff continually strives to redefine the way singers approach their own voices.

Growing up in Atlanta, Jeff studied classical voice and excelled in musical theatre. But the foundation for his teaching career began during his first lesson with vocal coaching icon Brett Manning, more than a decade ago. Since then, Jeff has learned how to use his voice freely and effortlessly, and has developed the kind of power and range that is rarely seen in today's music world. Now, his greatest passion is helping his diverse clientele experience the joy of finding that same freedom with their own voices—a process that leads to truly authentic artistry and creative expression.
